It amuses me to see how most of us in the workforce will take what is tried and true, what works or has worked… and then simply ignore it. I guess we all have this insatiable desire to do it our own way.

Management or leadership might lie in this gray area, of providing an environment where logic, truth and experience can provide a foundation for the maverick to perform.

Leaders should allow for the maverick…or wild duck as Paul calls them.
