Resumes are a dime a dozen.  By 5 pm this afternoon, I can create a new resume and have it on its way to about 100,000 companies.  It won’t seen by 5.

So, one Carolyn Duncan solved this problem recently.  She really REALLY wanted to work for Paul Allen’s Provo Labs.

Did she send in her resume?  Nope.  She created her own blog, titled WHYPROVOLABSWANTSTOHIRECAROLYNDUNCAN and made sure that Paul Allen and others knew about it.  Find it here.

She took Nick Corcodilos’ advice to the next level.  Provo Labs knows exactly what Carolyn can do and what she is bringing to the job and to the company.  She did it all in good humor.
