Toby Dayton’s Diggings deserves to be read by every big city newspaper in the USA.  Especially his post today.

I suppose when the monopolist in town begins to encounter competition, having failed to keep pace with what customers need and want,  they have to compete using strong arm tactics.

It does make me wonder why local businesses support the paper?  It must be that they like the age of the average reader…53!
