No kidding. My favorite example of this is the local big daily newspaper who now has a front page story weekly on HOW TO around the house. I am all for HOW TO articles...but theirs? It was a laugh out loud moment (LOL) to read their HOW TO STOCK YOUR PANTRY article followed the next week with HOW TO IRON. I sxxx you not. And they wonder why readership is dropping.

The best way to battle the "news"shows out there is to ignore them, keep putting out good content and focus on things you can control. The reason I used to watch the news was for weather and sports scores. I no longer wait for this information I go to the web and get it when I want it. The obsolete format of the nightly news will go away over time as the population ages. The question is whether or not people will either demand more objective reporting of news or news of substance, not the type of diamond dog collar Paris Hilton's dog is wearing.
