I admit it. I watched American Idol last night. Cultural research.

Anywayyyyy…if you ever had any doubts about the sheer musical genius of [tag]Mick Jagger[/tag] and The Rolling Stones, you should have seen this girl-contestant try to sing the Stones’[tag] Paint It Black[/tag]. I understand it is not fair to compare some wannabe lounge singer with Mick Jagger, but it just made me even more appreciative of good HE is. It was painful to watch.
And, you heard it here, first–I am betting a buck that the crying girl (about ten years old), brought up on stage for crying tears of excitement watching all the lameass wannabes stars perform by the other lameass dickclark hopeful host, Ryan Seacrest, will soon be on the pages of [tag]PEOPLE[/tag] magazine.
