First, some givens. No one is more than 15% smarter or dumber than anyone else. Some skills matter. So does discipline, training, no question. But your [tag]attitude[/tag] about your job, your company and life in general will dictate much of your [tag]success[/tag].

I will even make it simpler than that. If you smile a lot…chances are good you will do well. Could it really be as easy as that? Maybe. I am not talking some big stupid looking goofy inappropriate smile, I am talking a genuine ability to laugh, [tag]smile[/tag] and grin with ease. But the bigger, the better.

It works in almost any line of work. Think of some celebrities, close your eyes, and what do you see? What is the default image you have in your mind?

Here are two gigantic, very likable celebrities: [tag]Julia Roberts[/tag] and [tag]Chris Rock[/tag].

Ok, sure it works with celebrities, how about politicians? I bet the following picture comparison could well determine the next presidential candidates.

So, that is my proof: big smiles help. Next time when you find a situation at work, that makes you feel good, SMILE big.
