I remember visiting her once in Abilene, and she wanted to show us the Eisenhower memorial. She said why don’t we just walk, because it’s just a little ways. Long story short she walked me into the ground, then around her neighborhood to introduce us to her friends. She was 80 then and I was 20 something. I have seen her chopping chickens heads off, and cuddling babies in the same day. Where do I stop---she was amazing… Thanks for the article GL-
