At last count, there were about 4,237 specific careers that one could have, from semen collector and and bra tester to being a paralegal and or a pharmaceutical sales rep. For sure, there is a job/career out there for you, a place where you actually dig your job.

Trouble is, learning about these specific career choices is difficult. “Career Guides” get all HR-y on us, and basically re-gurgitate job descriptions. Bor-ing. What we really want to hear are stories from people IN the career. What do they do, really. What are the problems, really. What is cool and not cool about the job, really.

From time to time, I am getting off my soapbox here at WWDS and allowing these stories to be told. By people who are actually doing the work.
