I work with hundreds of companies who are all reading the same negative media and wondering if they should be doing more to hunker down than they are already doing. Even strong companies are shell shocked by the news and going into conservation mode.  The problem, of course, is that if everybody does that then it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.  The reality is that while thousands of jobs have been lost, companies are still hiring out there.  The unemployment stats are net job gains/losses and paint an incomplete picture.  Thanks for bringing this great article to our attention.</description>
