I understand the difference between dreaming about a rosey future, and then having the requisite skills, attitude and persistence to go “for it,” and the namby-pampby feeling that a few people have that absent those things, they will be “discovered.”

G.L. I’m thinking MLM’s b/c a friend of mine who is very successful in a MLM company gave me a 15 minute pitch yesterday why he is successful at it and I could to, if I’d only try. But I’ll tell him today that if I had a nickle for everyone who’s not been successful at MLM, I’d be a rich man.

Tell you what, I’ll trade you my bag of nickels for yours?

David—funny how we both thought of different audiences. Just Sunday, I heard from another “dad” who was complaining to me that his Gen Y’er didn’t have a job because he was looking for that perfect job, “so he could be passionate at something.” If I had a nickel for everyone who told me that…well, I would have a big bag of nickels.
