I have this online friend, let’s call him Michael, who lives in Romania. (Thanks Al Gore, I love your internet.)
He makes his living as a graphic artist…and I have used him with great results. So this morning I am watching the Morning News Shows where, no surprise, the news about BP’s oil spill dominates. Don’t even get me started.
At that time, about three hours ago, Michael shoots me a message and asks if I have any work for him. On a whim, I tell him if he can come up with a new BP logo, reflecting todays’ reality, that I would post it. It is interesting to me to see how small the world is these days, and how someone in Romania can be so clued in. Truth: I am not sure I could FIND Romania on a map.

GL–Gotta call #2 a cheap shot. A more accurate version would be a foursome, adding Bush 1, Bush 2 and Clinton. The Minerals Management has been screwed up for so long, the blame must be a shared embarassment for both Republicrats and Democans. You might remember their office in Colorado that was busted back in 2008 for contract steering, illegal gifts and sex and drug use with energy company folks.
Let’s raise the level of dialog to actually address problems instead of scoring points in a game where you and I are the losers.
