As many of you know, our LINKUP site is an entirely new kind of jobs board.

We find jobs that are currently being listed on a company’s own website and place them on LinkUp for you. Years ago, companies would post job openings internally near the coffee pot, rightly assuming that current employees make the best potential new applicants for openings. Now, they post these jobs on their own company.com website.

What a great place to look for a job. In August, there were over one million jobs available on LinkUp. When you visit this site, you will notice that jobs are constantly being added or taken down. WHY? Because unlike nearly every other job board, we take down the opening once it is filled, saving you time and frustration.

We know that about 60% of the jobs on LinkUp are NEVER advertised or published elsewhere.

Contact me directly if you would like to discuss how your company can profit from a partnership, a feed of the data or a research partnership. We are currently reviewing some of these opportunities and are excited about this new form of job board that serves active and passive job seekers. We have even created some gadgets and widgets to get your creative juices flowing about this chasm-crossing opportunity.

Getting ink (PR) for a small company is always tough. When you compete with the daily local newspaper, as we do with the Minneapolis Star Tribune, it is nearly impossible. They are a bit sensitive that JobDig is taking market share away with our significantly better value proposition.

Which is why when PC Magazine says our LINKUP.COM concept is very cool, it makes me want to call someone at the Strib and simply say, “neener, neener.”
