Wowzer.

I don’t even know where to start. Maybe with the GPS feature, it not only gives you directions to and from where you are, but with WHERE TO? from the App Store ($2.99), it finds restaurants, theaters, etc for you, no matter your current location. F-A-S-T.

But that isn’t even the coolest thing. If you have an I-Phone, try this: visit What Would Dad Say (this blog), JOBDIG, or LINKUP, then bookmark it, and then add it to the homepage. You will then see these ICONS on your home screen. Yet another justification for my I-Phone.

Continuing our nationwide expansion, JobDig is now helping employers in Tucson, Arizona. We have unique solutions to offer employers, including access to a variety of media, including our award-winning free newspaper that’s full of relevant and insightful job/workplace news plus full color display help wanted ads, radio and television advertising, web products, career centers. Something else is new: our JobDigTracker is an ATS system with some real muscle, all available for a company at a reasonable $179 per month for the entire company.

Our business has two distinct customers–hiring companies who trust us to find applicants for their openings and the job seeker. Companies like us because we are a great neighbor to do business with as we seek to develop long term positive relationships. For example, unlike some of the other print help wanted advertising vehicles, we do not accept ads from businesses that exploit the job seeker. The job seekers love our publications because every week the ads in our papers and online are ‘fresh’ that week. We take down old ads every week, which saves the jobseeker lots of time. The ads in our paper are attractive and communicate a lot about the job and company. These days, finding a well designed help wanted print ad is a new fresh alternative to the lines and lines of all-the-same internet job listings. There is value in a print ad that is lasting and long term. In addition, jobseekers can use our resume building tools and applications to make contact with interested companies. BTW, we don’t sell access to this database, ensuring privacy for everyone.
