Chances are, if you have workers under 40, they don’t either.

Here’s what they missed today:

Lead story, page 1: An expose about a local doctor who had sex with two female patients, one relationship spanned 20 years. This was evidently more important than Obama’s trip, that was on A3.

Page A-5, copyrighted story by the AP on medically unfit truckers. According to a government safety study, it’s a huge problem. AP says they, the AP, reviewed 7.3 million commercial driver violations. They are lying, it takes me all week to read yesterday’s mail. 7.3 million pieces of paper would fill every semi on the road in Kansas today. They found, among other things, a Virginia trucker who has a prosthetic leg Is allowed to drive until 2012, even though he doesn’t have the proper federal paperwork required for amputees. Stop the presses. Somehow I feel my trucker buddy Wayne, who works hard for all of us who consume stuff, might have something to say about this study. You can read his trucking blog here, What Would the Truck Driver Say.

Page A-7, another AP story, about how people in the DC area, have gotten pedicures by having tiny fish nibble on their feet. There is a picture. 5,000 people in the Washington, DC area have had such pedicures. I am not kidding.

Page A-2, Corrections: An author will not be present when his fans discuss his book, and a former Minnesota Supreme Court justice is very much alive, even though the paper had described her as being ‘late.’

And that’s the way it is…

Getting ink (PR) for a small company is always tough. When you compete with the daily local newspaper, as we do with the Minneapolis Star Tribune, it is nearly impossible. They are a bit sensitive that JobDig is taking market share away with our significantly better value proposition.

Which is why when PC Magazine says our LINKUP.COM concept is very cool, it makes me want to call someone at the Strib and simply say, “neener, neener.”
